Our Internship Program

Helping to prepare future music educators

We are delighted to offer an internship program for those hoping to pursue a career in music eudcation or music-related fields!

Dr. Hu has been a longtime champion for music education. In addition to her research and dissertation work, she has hosted numerous student teachers and advises students in the Kent State Music Education program. She firmly believes that we should provide lots of support and opportunities for preservice teachers to get real-world classroom experiences. This is why she started an internship program at HVVH. Our interns are able to interact with students from 1st grade on up. Under the supervision of certified NYS music educators with years of classroom experience, our interns have a chance to work with students of all ages and abilities. Our interns have the opportunity to gain experience leading warm-ups, teaching songs, leading musical activities activities, and conducting the choirs.

If you are interested in learning more, please email Dr. Hu at: info@hvvh.org with your resume to learn more.
