The Melody Makers program is specially designed for the young emerging musician. Does your student love to sing? This introductory class is a 30-minute session for first and second grade students. This course will introduce them to the exciting world of music and singing! Students will learn an introduction to singing with a NYS-certified music educator. They will learn how to use their singing voice and find joy in singing with others. They will also have a chance to move, play instruments, and engage in many other musical activities and games.
The Choral Crew is the perfect space for the growing singer. Whether it is your first time being a part of a chorus, or your 10th time, we make singing a fun experience for all. If your child enjoys singing, we can help them learn how to use their voice in an age-appropriate manner. We welcome all to join us in the wonderful world of collaborative singing, also known as choral singing! We work on learning to sing in unison with good vocal production. We will also work on learning how to sing in parts, creating beautiful harmonies with one another. The choir will have a number of performance opportunities throughout the session.
Voice Class is a new offering for Choral Crew singers of HVVH in Wappingers only! The class will provide small group vocal instruction for singers who are looking for additional support and instruction. The class size would be for 3-5 students (min. 3 students and max. 5). The course would focus on the basics of solo singing. There would be a lot of time spent on warm-up and good vocal technique, and health. They would also work on learning 2-3 Broadway songs/classic folk songs (Ex: Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Sound of Music, Amazing Grace).
